Timeless Love: A Journey Through Time

Scene 1: Tarun and Jyoti's Initial Conversation

Tarun sits nervously waits for Jyoti to show up for their date, an engagement ring sitting heavily in his pocket at a table, checking his watch.

{Soon Jyoti enters the scene.}

Jyoti: I know am late.

{Jyoti grabs a glass of wine & drinks it completely…}

Tarun: No worries, Jyoti. I've been here for a bit.

Jyoti: Listen I found something that’s gonna change our lives forever & ever! The reason am late is because…{Jyoti takes out the a box from her hand}… Look what I found! A time machine!

Tarun: Where you get that thing? A stupid Box?

{Tarun skeptically looks at her as she starts to drink without him…}

Tarun: Did you just started to drink without me? You shouldn’t be drinking like that!!

{Jyoti slams Tarun’s hands.}

Jyoti: Dude am serious! This is for real!!

Scene 2: Jyoti discussing her incident where she found time machine

Jyoti: When I was clearing the mess on this table I saw this thing {an old camera device}

{Jyoti cleans the tables & she sees the device suspiciously.}

Jyoti: looked kinda nostalgic.. So I started messing with it & the next thing I knew was

{Jyoti vanishes from that spot & lands on her previous table where it was messy, she was cleaning the table 10 mins ago

She later sees her table and accidently slips on to something in the process she accidentally clicks the camera where she lands to her previous place 10 mins ago and that is near the cashier table}

Jyoti: So I got off my shift & started to try a few more times… Took a while to figure it out.

Scene 3: Back to the place where Tarun and Jyoti's Initial Conversation took place.

Jyoti: But every time I press this button, it takes me backward in time, 10 mins to the second.

Tarun: So you found a camera type time machine that somebody left on a public place like that and that too on the table & it “only” goes back in time, 10 minutes?

Jyoti: (with excitement filled over her face) Yes!

Tarun: And you want me to believe this story!?

Jyoti Nods her head

Tarun: First of all Its seriously a kid’s toy & Second of all, who would make a device that only goes back in time for just 10 mins!?!

Jyoti decides to prove him

Jyoti: In 10 mins, I’ll come back to right now & show you!

Tarun: (sarcastically) please do that.

Jyoti: I’m setting alarm on my for to remind me

Jyoti & Tarun looks at each other face waiting to see the miracle

Tarun: (in doubt) Aren’t you supposed to be here already?

Jyoti: I can’t just time travel in middle of the restaurant. It must be done somewhere private da!

Tarun: (in doubt) Where!

Jyoti: Is your car here ?

Tarun: Yup!

Jyoti: Done

Jyoti get’s out of her seat & starts walks out!

Jyoti: I’m sure I’ll be waiting outside by now! You better share whatever yor’re on!

Tarun signals the waiter that he would be coming in a minute & he runs towards her.

Scene 4: Outside the Restaurant

They start walking outside & Tarun sees another Jyoti who is waiting outside his car.

Tarun and Jyoti encounter the past Jyoti, who was bewildered by their presence

Scene 5: Inside the car

Tarun: (wide-eyed murmuring inside as What's happening here?)

Jyoti & Past Jyoti exchange their looks with Tarun!

Tarun: I agree that you seriously found a freaking time machine.

Jyoti: I know, its cool na!?

Tarun: Amazing! (Pauses for a second)  You are from the future!

Jyoti Chuckles lightly with a YES!

Tarun: And what happens to me?!

Jyoti: It’s less than 10 mins Sunny.. so you would be slightly be drinking

Tarun: Right though! But Wow!

Jyoti: Do you believe me now!?

Tarun: Oh yeh!!

Tarun: Jyoti! We’re gonna kick some real millionaire shit!

Continues!

Tarun: Hey! I also know the idea of threesome is off the table :P…. but if it’s with yourself-

Both Speaking!

Jyoti: Not happening!

Tarun looks sad

Scene 6: Back to the restaurant where Tarun and Jyoti's Usual Conversation place with the time machine on table

As they continue to stare the time machine, Tarun and Jyoti decide to brainstorm their ideas on how to become a millionaire

Tarun: Suno, I think we found something special way here, & with this the opportunity to something really amazing!

Jyoti: I agree! But we should figure out how to make serious money with this.

Tarun: Definitely! With this going back in time on for 10 mins is the most challenging part but I think I found a way to become mega rich

Jyoti: Chalo lets do it then! I seriously wanna get super rich now

Tarun: Okay. The Share Market. You can buy shares upto 30 mins before they lock it up.

Jyoti: Right! So what we do is, wait for the results and then go back in time 10 mins & tell ourselves 10 mins before, the value of those shares.

Tarun: Yes. And then those verions of us go back 10 mins and tell ourselves 20 mins earlier, the share values.

Jyoti: And then they go back & tell us 30 mins earlier and then we bet on those shares & adjust out trading strategy accordingly which means we buy them at their lowest & sell them at highest values?

Tarun: I think that makes sense.

They both give hi fi to each other!

Tarun: We will be super rich!

They both become super happy & Tarun announces to everyone in the hotel that the bill’s for the next round is on him & crowd cheers him for that!

They both look at each other with the romantic music played by the orchestra & Tarun decides that this is the moment where he takes out the ring & looks at his girl where he makes sure that he is going to propose her.

Suddenly his phone pops up with a notification.

Tarun: Gimme a minute, I’ll just go to washroom & I’ll be back

He walks off to washroom meanwhile Jyoti looks at the device curiously with a happiness on her face that its gonna make them rich.

Scene 7: Tarun at the meets his Future self

He knocks the door of the bathroom, where the future Tarun opens the door & makes sure no one is watching him.

Future Tarun: This is the trip man!

Tarun: First tell me, Did she say yes?

Future Tarun: She did!

Tarun: Yayy! We are getting married!

They both hug each other out of happiness!

Tarun: Oh did you find a way to come back here!

Future Tarun: Well, I told her that I wanted to try it out & She was so excited that she said yes!

Tarun: Oh!! Awesome!!!

Future Tarun: Yaar, am telling you this is so cool! But really ! I mean just look at it!

Tarun: Yeh! I know it looks like a kid’s toy

Future Tarun: Haina!

He throws at him assuming that Tarun would catch him but Tarun fails to catch it and it falls down.

Suddenly the time machine clatters and it turns on with a projections of light with heavy electrical buzzing.

Tarun picks it up with a question mark on his face that something is pretty messed up over here.

Scene 8: Somewhere outside

They both look at each other, as if there’s something about to happen and to their surprise it actually did!

They reach a place outside where they see a person with blind folds smoking a cigar. (IKYK)

When they look around they see a huge train coming with the high speed which is about to crash him up.

Future Tarun & Tarun: Behench#d!

When they scream & Tarun Presses the button out of fear

Scene 9: Meanwhile in Present (SCENE 6) where Jyoti was watching the device.

 Now even her cellphone buzzes with a notification & She also goes to washroom right after Tarun arrives.

Jyoti: I’ll be back in minute

 

Scene 10: Jyoti at the meets her Future self

She knocks the door of the bathroom, where the future Jyoti opens the door & makes sure no one is watching them & She drags her in.

Future Jyoti: Listen I don’t have much time left! I’m from 5 years now from the future….When you go back there. Tarun is going to show you the time machine can go anywhere in time & he’s going to propose you

Jyoti: Seriously? He’s gonna propose me?

future Jyoti nods with a disappointment but Present Jyoti gets over excited!

Future Jyoti: But you have to say NO!... For some reason, Time trave does something to Sunny’s mind where he slowly starts to forget things like he usually dose but this time he completely forgets you.

Jyoti: What?!

Future Jyoti: Where I come form, he doesn’t remember me anymore… So take the machine for yourself.. with it you can do anything & be anything! But you can’t do both… Had I known, I would have never put him through it.

They both look at each other with depressed pause

Scene 9: Back at the hotel

Tarun stares at the picture of the restaurtant where the picture shows 3 people on the track where 2 were twins both were surprised & shocked where he realizes that it was them in the photo he time travelled too much way back at the past!

Followed by that Jyoti comes back & haves her seat.

Tarun: Always thought photo over there looked a bit familiar…...Hey you never gonna believe what I just found out that---

Tarun observes that Jyoti was so low and she was not listening to his conversation

Tarun: Hey You alright?

Jyoti: Yeah, ofcourse. (Jyoti clears her face with a smile) I’m fine…. So what wouldn’t I believe?

Tarun realizes that this is the moment

Tarun: That can wait…  Jyoti, you are perfect and I never wanted out time to end.

Tarun takes out his engagement ring & places it infront of Jyoti.

Jyoti realizes that her future self was right about the moment

Tarun: Will you marry me?

Tarun eagerly waiter for the moment & Jyoti foresees the future consequences. Soon she grabs the time machine and makes some changes and…

Jyoti: Yes!!! (With a happiest smile on her face)

She turns on the button on her devices disappearing right in front of Tarun

Scene 9: Back to the start

As Jyoti arrives at the spot where she first discovered the time machine while cleaning the table, memories flood back of her encounters with her future self and Tarun. Realization dawns upon her that nothing matters more to her than Tarun. Determined to prevent any further disruptions caused by the time machine, she resolves to destroy it completely, breaking it into several irreparable pieces to ensure it can never be used again.

Just as she completes her task, a sense of peace washes over her. However, in the moment when she initially found the time machine, her past self arrives at the scene, unaware of the events that transpired. Suddenly, the present Jyoti fades away, leaving only the past version behind, free from the burden of time-travel-induced dilemmas and ready to embrace the simplicity of the present moment.
